Mean, Median, Mode, and Quartiles
Use this calculator to determine the mean, median, mode, range, minimum, maximum, sum, quartiles, IQR, and outliers specific to any given data set.
Weighted Mean Calculator
Variance and Standard Deviation
Be sure to choose either "Sample" or "Population" depending on the problem to ensure the calculations are correct.

Coefficient of Variation
In this online calculator you can enter your data set, choose whether the data is from the population or a sample, and calculate the coefficient of variation (CV). Note: this calculator produces several statistical values. The CV is toward the bottom of the computed results.

Expected Value
This expected value calculator helps you to quickly and easily calculate the expected value (or mean) of a discrete random variable X. Enter all known values of X and P(X) into the form below and click the "Calculate" button to calculate the expected value.
Poisson Distribution Calculator
This Poisson distribution calculator can help you find the probability of a specific number of events taking place in a fixed time interval and/or space if these events take place with a known average rate.

Normal Distribution
Use this calculator to find the area under the standard normal distribution, above, below, between, or outside any z-score or data value.
Find z-score given area

Confidence Interval Calculator (z)
Use this calculator to compute the confidence interval or margin of error, assuming the sample mean most likely follows a normal distribution. Use the Standard Deviation Calculator if you have raw data only.
Simple Confidence Interval (t)
Use this calculator to find the confidence interval about the mean, when the population standard deviation is unknown, and alpha is either 0.20, 0.10, 0.05, or 0.01
Margin of Error Calculator

Hypothesis Testing for the Mean (z-test)
Use this online calculator to verify your calculations for a hypothesis test when the population standard deviation is known. (Note: if you enter a level of significance other than those provided, you may need to avoid typing a 0 before the decimal point. For example, instead of 0.07 you must type only .07)
Quick P-value calculator (from z-score)
Enter your standardized test statistic, z-score, to quickly find the P-value. Be sure to choose whether your test is one-tailed or two-tailed. However, for simply finding the p-value, you may ignore the "Significance Level".
