Jeanie Mitchell is a retired NH high school teacher in the Family and Consumer Science field and prepared High school students for careers in education.
Jean graduated from the University of RI with both her bachelors and master’s degrees and is a native of East Providence RI. She served on YCCC curriculum revision committees, has worked cooperatively with high school and ECE center directors and over the past three years has overseen the Practicum for ECE student teachers. Her committee work has focused on aligning the colleges ECE curriculum with Maine Educational Learning Standards. (MELDS)
