Subject guides are a great way to jumpstart your research with librarian-recommended resources, including websites. Save time searching and get high quality resources, guaranteed!

Or try one of our course guides.  These guides are designed for specific assignments in specific classes.

In order to fully acknowledge the authors and works that contributed to your research and to avoid plagiarism, you must cite your sources correctly and completely in your paper, using the "citation style" recommended by your professor.

YCCC uses two citation styles: MLA for classes in the humanities (English, literature, music, art, etc.) and APA for classes in the social sciences (psychology, sociology, etc.). The resources below will help you create bibliographies in either citation style.
