I am a Professor of Psychology and served as the Chair of Social Sciences (including Psychology, Sociology, Political Science, Criminal Justice, Behavioral Health, and Gerontology) from 2005 - 2016. I teach classes in psychology, sociology and gerontology and also work overseas in the summers. I hold a Visiting Professor of Psychology position at the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) in Cambodia where I work a few months each year helping design curriculum and train teachers in the only psychology department in the country. I have also worked in Cambodia thanks to two Fulbright scholarships (2004 and 2006) and was named a Carnegie Scholar by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching in 2004.
