The SSC's Spring Duck Campaign
The semester’s half over which means it’s the perfect time to get your ducks in a row!
You can always do this figuratively at the SSC, by checking in with your success coach, making sure you’re set for the fall semester or graduation, visiting the library to get the materials you need for any upcoming projects, and visiting math, science, or writing tutors for support.
And now you can get your ducks in a row literally, too.
Approximately 300 small, multicolored, glow-in-the-dark ducks have been hidden around the public areas of the Student Success Commons. While you visit the SSC to study or get academic support, be on the lookout for ducks! Some are easy to spot while others might blend in a little more.
Help us find these ducks (because Karissa hid them and already forgot where most of them are).
Here are the rules for the SSC’s Spring Duck Campaign:

All the ducks are hidden in the open areas of the SSC, so you don’t need to go into any offices nor the writing center to find them. The ducks may be in the library, at the study desks, in the science or math sections, etc.

All ducks are easy to access in that they do not require climbing, crawling, or dismantling anything. You will not need to access behind the front desk, or inside any cabinets, drawers, or SSC Team personal property.

You can keep any of the ducks you find! Just take a picture and tag us on Instagram or send your ducks photos to studentsuccesscommons@yccc.edu so we can share on social media.

If you've already found a handful of ducks but still find more, feel free to hide them again for your friends and classmates to find! This isn't a competition to see who can find the most ducks; it's just a fun game we want everyone to have the chance to play.
