Meet the SSC Team!: Elise LaPlante

Hello! I'm Elise, and I'm passionate about working with and helping students here at YCCC. I have a background in speech therapy so having interesting conversations and listening to your goals, barriers, and dreams is what I love most about my job. I'm easy to talk to and I will always give you clear options and roadmaps to your goals.

Outside of work, you can find me running around town with my two kids who keep me busy with sports and art activities. My family loves to travel and we are always planning our next adventure, whether exploring a trail here in Maine or planning museum stops in France.

I love to read and am a lifelong library fanatic.

I can't wait to meet you and help you in your journey here at YCCC!

FUN FACT

I grew up in Aroostook County where we had 3 weeks off in the fall for potato harvest. I picked potatoes by hand and was paid by the barrel!
