Finding your access code
1. Make sure you purchase your textbooks from the YCCC bookstore (https://yccc.bncollege.com)
2. Always use your YCCC student email when signing up for or logging into any YCCC e-learning account. Carefully check that your email address is written correctly.
3. After purchasing your digital materials, check your YCCC student email for an email from “Digital Learning bookstorecustomercare@bncollege.com” inviting you to access the material now in your personal library. If you do not see an email like this, please check your spam folder.
4. To obtain your access code from YUZU you must:
a. Go to https://www.yuzu.com/#sign-in
b. Click the sign in button for “YUZU BARNES & NOBLE”.
c. Sign in with your campus bookstore account. (Remember, you should have used your YCCC student email when you purchased your textbooks. If you aren’t sure what your password is click “Forgot Password” and follow the instructions that appear. We suggest you have a separate tab with you YCCC email open while you are accessing your textbooks.)
d. After signing in, you should see the textbook(s) you purchased from the YCCC bookstore. If you do not, contact the bookstore to ensure your YCCC student information was properly entered.
e. Select the textbook for which you need the access code and select “Reveal Access Code”.
f. Copy your access code.
g. Login to your Brightspace account (https://mccs.brightspace.com/d2l/login)
h. Select the course for which you just copied the textbook access code.
i. Navigate to the e-text section. When asked, enter your access code.
j. You should now be able to access your e-text and other digital materials through Brightspace.
If you do not see the “Reveal Access Code” button from step “e”
1. Follow steps “a” through “d” above.
2. Click the textbook for which you need the access code. To “open” the textbook, you may need to click “Continue Reading” or “Launch Courseware”
3. If necessary, open the courseware menu by clicking the icon in the upper right corner.
4. Click “continue” then click “Reveal Access Code” 5.
Copy the code and finish following the previous steps, starting on “f”.
If you are still unable to find the “Reveal Access Code” option:
1. Follow steps “a” through “d” in the first set of instructions.
2. Click the profile icon in the top right corner to reveal a drop down menu.
3. Click “resources”
4. Click “access codes”
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to reveal the access code you need.
